Whether documenting power struggles between oppressive governments and marginalised groups or capturing random elements colliding in a bustling cityscape or anything in between, the common elements of Luke Cody’s work are the streets on which the stories play out and his presentation that we are all the same emotionally “We all smile, cry, display anger, passion or empathy, show emotion, no matter what background, story or perspective we come from.”
Luke’s incredible work has been recognised by the likes of The Guardian and New Yorker Magazine who have published his work.
Luke Cody required a website that would act as a platform for him to showcase and share his work online. Therefore, it was down to Foundry to design and develop a website that effectively displayed his impressive photography to its full potential.
The sleek, clean cut look achieved emulates sophistication and poise. The simplicity of a white, grey and black colour scheme is teamed with minimal menus and copy to encourage user attention to the photography.
The clean and simple pages increase the impact of the images on site visitors as their colour, composition and content are attention seeking against the white backgrounds.
