A wilting website redesigned & revived to aid a great cause
The Daisy Trust is a charity working in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It raises funds to provide grants to local causes who seek money for worthwhile projects and initiatives that contribute towards the Borough being a better and stronger community.
The Daisy Trust came to Foundry Digital seeking a much needed website redesign.
The charity’s website was tired and outdated, with an unengaging site structure, functionality and design. Our team identified styling and navigation flaws that we believed were key contributors in preventing potential visitors from exploring The Daisy Trust’s work and engaging with the involvement and donation opportunities presented.
The new web design needed to incorporate the branding’s yellow and Daisy motif whilst transforming the site into a warm and welcoming experience that encourages more user activity around the site.
The simplicity and cleanliness of the navigation assists a user in finding content that is relevant to them, and the ease of journeying around the site makes it more likely that users will have longer sessions on the website.
With few images to work with, we achieved a visual site though use of colour, icons and textures.
The Events page helps promote the charity’s fundraising events, particularly their infamous annual Daisy Trust Fair, so they can now move to digital registration and advertisement.
We hope the more appealing visuals and functionality helps the Daisy Trust to continue blooming.
